Winter Anime 2025: Crunchyroll Anime List Revealed!

The year is about to end and crunchyroll has unveiled its list of winter anime 2025. With few new releases and new seasons of famous anime, this list is set to entertain the otaku community. So let’s not waste time and jump right into it. 

The Apothecary Diaries Season 2

Season 1 of ‘Apothecary Diaries’ has already made Maomao a fan favourite and it is easily one the most anticipated anime on this winter anime 2025 list. It will be entertaining to see what more Maomao has and what more his poison can do. The anime is set to release on 10th January on crunchyroll. All the dubbed languages are going to have simultaneous releases and that is not very common, thus reflecting the anticipation of ‘The Apothecary Diaries Season 2’. 

Zenshu

Zenshu is another hot anime on this winter anime 2025 list. In production by MAPPA, Zenshu has a very unique plot. A girl turned anime producer is looking for inspiration to create a romantic anime but there is a slight problem. She has never been in love herself and struggles to complete her story, bringing production to standstill. Zenshu is set to release on 5th January in multiple languages and it will be interesting to watch how the audience perceives it.  

Welcome to Japan, Ms Elf!

Winter anime 2025 is set to bring a new anime on your screen, ‘Welcome to Japan, Ms Elf’. The story is about Kazuhiro Kitase who meets an elf girl in his dream and goes on an adventure. The dream ends abruptly and when our protagonist wakes up, he finds the same girl next to him on his bead. The anime is all set to be about how they together navigate through Japan while facing different situations everyday. The anime will be released on 10th January in Japanese.

Crunchyroll has unveiled only a few of their total winter anime 2025 lineup. As of now ‘Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow’ and ‘Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga’ are listed as ‘Upcoming Anime’. While all of these are upcoming anime, ‘Shangri-La Frontier Season 2’ and ‘Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance’ are going to continue from the fall of 2024.
