Tower of God

What is ‘Tower of God’? Well Imagine a tower at  11 times the size of Earth where each floor is humongous and colossal. Each floor of this tower is the size of the continent we have on earth and this floor still stretches beyond the imagination. This is the world of Tower of God, a captivating universe where ambition, power, and mystery intertwine.

The plot of Tower of God is a tale of ascension. Everyone in this series is making attempts to climb this immense structure, driven by the promise of unimaginable wealth, power, and the fulfillment of their deepest desires. While this may sound very fascinating, it is way more complex than this. Each floor presents unique challenges, overseen by Floor Guardians who test the worthiness of those who make attempts to get on the next  floor.

Elements of Tower of God

The tower’s inner workings are governed by a mystical substance called shinsu, or “divine water.” This element controls everything in the tower of god acting as both air and water. This element can also change its properties from floor to floor and present a new obstacle everytime someone makes an attempt to climb. There is also a societal structure in the Tower of God. King Zahard, along with his 12 companions, conquered the first 134 floors, establishing the Zahard Empire. This feat, however, is just a fraction of the tower’s true height, as the upper limit is yet to be explored.

Tower of God Shinsu

Those making attempts to climb are categorized into two main groups. There is a recruiter that goes by the name ‘Headon’ who invites others to ascend the tower and they are called Regulars, Then there are ‘Irregulars’, outsiders who force their way in. Irregulars, while rare, are known for their exceptional strength and ability to bend the tower’s rules.

Both regulars and irregulars encounter various areas within each floor. The Inner Tower serves as the testing ground, while the Outer Tower houses diverse civilizations, many unaware of the tower’s true nature. The Middle Area acts as a transition point, allowing access between these two realms. The tower’s administration is further controlled by an intricate system of Rankers, High Rankers, and the three Lords who rotate rulership every millennium. This bureaucracy ensures the continued function of the tower while King Zahard himself often remains in hibernation.
