Shangri-La Frontier Season 2: Release Date, Where to Watch and What to Expect!

Shangri-la Frontier season 2 release date has been announced finally. While the fans were well aware that season 2 is already in production, the sudden trailer drop did take people by surprise. 

Shangri-la Frontier season 2 is being directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka under C2C studios. It will be released on Crunchyroll on 13th October 2024 pacific asia time. The season is expected to be 23-24 episodes and will take on from exactly where it was left. Season one completed one-ninth of the total story and it is expected that this season of Shangri-la frontier will do the same. 

Shangri-la Frontier Plot

For those who don’t know, Shangri-la Frontier is a story of a teenager named Rakuro Hizutome. He loves to play video games and discovered an interesting game called Manga Frontier. He lives a character life in the game and that is what anime focuses upon. In the game his character has the head of a bird and he roams around shirtless. 

Shangri-la Frontier’s first season was mind blowing with good anime music, splendid  animation and a perfectly paced story. While at times, the anime do remind you of Sword Art Online because of how they have used the concept of the game. But let us assure you that Shangri-la Frontier is nothing like it. There are many funny moments and no intense drama regarding the danger to life is there.

The Otaku community would be expecting Shangri-la season 2 to just follow the same path it adopted during season 1. We might see the introduction of many new characters. Season 2 comes out on 13th October and if you haven’t watched the anime yet, you have enough time to catch  up on it.
