Ranma 1/2  Remake : Release date, Where to Watch and the Classic Returns!

Ranma 1/2 , the classic rom-com is all set to make a comeback on your screen. For those who don’t know, it is a classic 90’s anime that is a part of core memory for many millennials. It was the first anime to be released in the fateful uncut dub and while Ranma 1/2 had a decent fan following, it was never released in the US. 

After all this while, a remake of Ranma 1/2 is scheduled for the US and the world. It is going to be released on Netflix on October 5 and will be available throughout the world. While there is no confirmation of whether it will be released in other languages or not, for now it is all subbed in english for the international audience.

To give you an idea about what Ranma 1/2 is about, Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo’s parents have fixed their marriage which is due soon. However, there’s a problem: whenever Ranma is splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl! 

Originally Ranma ½ lasted 7 seasons and was written by Rumiko Takahishi. While initially it might feel like a bit of a serious manga, but with later episodes it is unveiled to be a rom-com that features graphic nudity at times.
