“My Hero Academia:You’re Next” New Trailer Just Dropped!

The hype for ‘My Hero Academia: You’re Next” in the anime world is extremely high. A new trailer for the fourth movie installment, titled “My Hero Academia: You’re Next” just dropped and fans can’t keep calm.

From what we can make from the trailer, “You’re Next” movie seems to have a fascinating premise. Someone appears to have taken on the heroic mantle from the main character All Might after he symbolically passed the torch by telling the next generation “You’re next.” This new mysterious guy seems to have interpreted that as a literal message directly meant for him. It will be really exciting to see his motivations and exact role he’ll play.

One more reason this trailer gives to the viewers to be hyped about is the astounding animation quality alone. The visuals look downright fantastic! The action sequences have such dynamic motion and the character designs pop with incredibly detailed line work. As you’d expect and demand from an anime film bound for theatrical release compared to the TV series.

“You’re Next” Expectations

While the third My Hero Academia movie was easily the weakest of the three so far, this “You’re Next” movie already has fans really excited based on the latest trailer. It is always fun when these anime movie spin offs introduce new characters that fans have never seen before. The footage prominently features at least two apparent new heroes or villains.

One critique of anime films is when viewers feel completely disconnected from the overarching storylines of the main series they’re based on. Hopefully this My Hero Academia movie doesn’t just feel like a total side story.
